Los Angeles, CA September 10, 2026 --(PR.com)-- America’s OnlyFans habits are more local, and more surprising, than you might expect.
Washington, DC has been crowned America’s "horniest" city, with new OnlyFans search data revealing the US capital has the highest concentration of users searching for creators online.
The findings come from OnlySearch, an OnlyFans discovery platform, which analysed more than 514,000 location-based searches, 154,000 monthly users and around 3 million creator profile clicks worldwide.
While Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas might be considered the obvious hubs of the adult creator world, the data suggests America’s biggest appetite for OnlyFans is coming from some far less expected places.
And surprisingly, fans aren't simply searching for the most famous or conventionally attractive creators - they're searching for creators close to home.
The most unexpected findings include:
- Washington, DC has the highest concentration of OnlySearch users in America, with almost 2,000 users per million residents - around double the national average.
- California is home to the most recently active OnlyFans creators, with around 24,000, followed by Texas, Florida and New York.
- Los Angeles has more recently-active creators than any other US city, with around 9,200, ahead of New York and Miami.
- Pittsburgh ranks among America’s strongest cities for both creator numbers and fan demand.
Despite California dominating the creator economy, residents in smaller and more conservative states are significantly more likely to search for creators from their own hometowns and states.
Michigan users most commonly searched for “Michigan,” with the same pattern appearing across Ohio, Utah and Maine.
But perhaps the most unexpected example comes from Utah.
The data found Utah users were 31 times more likely than the national average to click Mormon-themed creators, with 1 in 8 Utah users clicking this type of content.
For US-based creator Kit Barrus (@kitthebeefcake), who was raised within the Mormon community, the finding did not come as a surprise.
“I’m not surprised that Utah folks are interacting more with Mormon-themed creators. I think a lot of Mormons feel lost, or alone, and they’re discouraged from telling each other those thoughts so they might look to people online as examples of what’s possible,” she said.
“I feel like Mormons also repress a lot of their sexuality. Some women in the church have a hard time shifting from vigilantly guarding their chastity to suddenly trying to enjoy sex within a marriage, which can leave men feeling lonely and women feeling isolated. If you have no other options for companionship, maybe OnlyFans becomes the next best thing.”
The research also revealed that where Americans live appears to influence what they search for, with different parts of the country showing distinctly different interests.
The pattern continues across the country:
- Montana users were 45x more likely to click hiking-themed creators.
- Mississippi users were 12x more likely to click creators tagged “Southern.”
- Oregon and Washington users strongly favoured barista-themed creators, reflecting the Pacific Northwest’s coffee culture.
- Connecticut users were 12x more likely to click financial domination creators.
- Kansas users were 13x more likely to click swingers and strap-on content than the national average.
These findings were revealed through research carried out for OnlyLocate, a new map-based search engine allowing fans to browse OnlyFans creators by city, state and country using only locations creators have publicly chosen to share on their profiles.
Unlike traditional maps, OnlyLocate never displays precise locations or addresses. It only indexes locations creators have already chosen to make public, never shows anything more specific than city level, and allows creators to claim, edit or remove their listing at any time.
With an estimated 4.6 million creators now on OnlyFans worldwide and no official way to browse them by location, the data suggests geography has quickly become an important driver of discovery in the creator economy.
