Altus, a financial technology platform connecting stablecoins with traditional capital markets, has announced the launch of its public beta, enabling eligible investors outside the United States to buy and sell real U.S. equities using USDC on the Solana blockchain, with trading available 24 hours a day, five days a week. Built by the team behind MPCVault, Altus combines stablecoin-based funding rails with regulated U.S. brokerage infrastructure to give global investors direct access to U.S. equities.

The launch addresses a longstanding gap between digital-asset liquidity and traditional capital markets. While stablecoins have become an increasingly important financial rail, access to U.S. equities remains largely dependent on traditional banking and brokerage infrastructure. Altus is designed to bridge the gap, allowing users to fund their accounts with USDC rather than relying on international wires, currency conversion or traditional bank transfers.

The Altus public beta offers:

  • 24/5 U.S. stock trading — Access to more than 11,000 publicly traded U.S. stocks and ETFs listed on major U.S. exchanges, including regular, pre-market, and after-hours trading.
  • USDC funding on Solana — Deposit and withdraw USDC through Solana, with funds becoming available as buying power without requiring a traditional bank transfer.
  • Fractional shares from $1 — Investors can purchase fractional shares with no minimum investment requirement.
  • Real U.S. securities — Investors own actual shares, not synthetic or tokenized representations, with full ownership rights including cash dividends and corporate action participation.
  • Regulated brokerage infrastructure — Brokerage execution is provided through U.S.-registered broker-dealers that are FINRA/SIPC members, with securities accounts carried, cleared, settled, and study held through regulated U.S. financial institutions.

"Stablecoins are becoming the new backbone of global money movement, but the markets people actually want to reach still run on rails built decades ago," said Karthick Sivakumar, Head of Operations at Altus. "For four years, over 1,000 institutions have trusted us with over $2B in assets because we refused to trade security for speed. Altus brings that same standard to individual investors everywhere: U.S. stocks held through regulated U.S. broker-dealers, accessible from anywhere in the world, with funding as fast as a USDC transfer."

U.S. equities are chapter one of a larger plan. Altus is building toward a single account with one balance and uniform access to every market on Earth. From the same USDC-funded balance, the company plans to add perpetual futures, prediction markets, and international equities, alongside real-world spending through a planned Altus Visa card, so capital can move between markets without ever leaving the platform.

The Altus public beta is now available to eligible investors outside the United States through iOS, Android and the web.

Users can join the beta with invite code GOATED. As part of the launch promotion, eligible users who hold at least $100 in qualifying stocks by August 31, 2026 will receive a free stock, subject to applicable terms, eligibility requirements and jurisdictional restrictions.
